Gardening With Window Boxes: The Secret to Nature’s Revival

More than any other hobbies, gardening is fun yet profitable. The tools needed to start making a garden can be expensive, but the benefits you can get can be ten folds of your investment.

Gardening can be an effective way of relieving stress, can be a source of food and extra income (vegetable garden), can smarten up your home, and can protect us from the adverse effects of global warming.

We know that global warming is the increase in the average temperature of the Earth’s atmosphere that causes climatic changes which brings ecological imbalance. To address this alarming concern, the world calls the need for green living. We are encouraged to minimize the use of plastic materials or products, dispose our garbage properly and not burn them, plant trees to restore the balding forests caused by abusive logging for commercial usage, and conserve water to avoid shortage. All of these help reduce global warming and its devastating effects.

Would these all be enough to resolve the gradual wreckage of our planet? Looking into the bright side, these simple things are like bits of a puzzle and to restore the Earth, we should completely fill in the empty slots of the puzzle by consistently doing those things hand in hand.

Creating a small garden in some vacant spaces in or outside our homes can be a good start. Container gardening is one wise thing to do like using window boxes in raising flowers and ornamental plants. Inviting neighbors for some community gardening is also a noble cause for the revival of our planet.
